HFR Design, Inc., a 105 year multi-disciplined architectural/engineering firm, is seeking an experienced specification writer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience. Licensure is preferred as well as accreditation as a Certified Construction Specifier (CCS). Other preferable attributes would be:

• Some field construction experience.
• Familiarity with Word and Excel, and their macros.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Familiarity with building and fire codes, bonds, construction law, and insurance.
• LEED accreditation would be a plus.
