Welcome to the Nashville Chapter of CSI

We appreciate your interest in the Nashville Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and hope you find a way to attend one of our regular meetings! We are fortunate to have such a great community of design and construction industry professionals – and we look forward to meeting you soon.

Our Chapter meets regularly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, January through November (with a break in July) from 12:00-1:00pm with registration and networking beginning at 11:15am. Our meetings are held at the Tennessee Engineering Center located just inside the Tennessee Engineering Center at 800 Fort Negley Blvd. in Nashville, TN.

In addition to our regular chapter meetings, we also hold regular SpecHeads meetings where the topics are generally more technical in nature but the atmosphere is relaxed. SpecHeads meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Southland Brick and Block Design Center - 3643 Trousdale Drive, in Nashville.

Topic:  Vertically Integrated Development

Please join us to learn about Vertically Integrated Development (VID) with local architect-developer Jared Bradley.

Learning Objectives:

     •  Identify key components of Vertically Integrated Development and explain how this approach differs
        from conventionally real estate development processes.
     •  Understand the history of early forms of real estate development and the shifts that occurred
        throughout the recent history of development that triggered the creation of the vertically
        integrated development model.
